Osteopathy and your lifestyle

Since the times of Hippocrates it is known that the common reasons for health problems are some deviations in the way of life, nutrition, movement, sleeping schedule. Normally a person is very well aware of what he or she should do, and what is utterly unhealthy. And still people smoke, go to bed at 3 a.m., eat a lot of fat food before doing so and neglect gymnastics. All this inevitably end in illness.

From time to time (and usually on Monday) such a person starts doing sports and sticks to a diet. This enthusiasm usually evaporates before the month is over. Most people ascribe it to laziness or weakness. But we know from experience, that sometimes hidden inner tension can be the reason for such indecisiveness.

How can osteopathy help in this situation? Osteopathy directs the strength of the organism to the mechanically tense parts. It helps the organism to become whole, one single neuro-physiological landscape, where all the organs and systems are balanced and the organism is able to deal with the limitations of spine mobility or blood vessels distension on its own.

If the body is relaxed, it naturally feels like having exercise, swimming, or going for a walk, going earlier to bed or skipping a rich supper.  One should just follow these natural wishes to make the treatment more efficient and to give the own body a new, healthy start.
